Which ones impress you most?

 I am most impressed by

  • the curvy border fence along the sand dunes (I wonder what they will do when the sand dunes move away with the wind... cool)
  • the cubes formed naturally in pyrit minerals (I also am fascinated by basalt columns, even if they have another background)
  • the colourful piece of Bismuth
  • the cabbage geometry (for the same reason as the above mentioned pictures: I am fascinated by how nature forms the most beautiful shapes and structures. In this one, I see a flower in the middle from which a spiral begins.)
  • the deepest swimming pool (this would be nothing for people with claustrophobia)
  • the strange cabinet (I think it wouldn't be so practical to store something within it. BTW, have you seen the face into the carvings?)
  • the railway car as a bridge (very original)

Nur 3 kleine Korrekturen, liebe Karin:

You store something in a cabinet.

No, I didn't notice a face within the carvings.

Railway car as a bridge is ingenious, rather than 'original'.

I don't know if this Thread is really improving our englisch skills. I think talking to a native speaker is the only thing that really works.

In diesem Fall bitte 'thread' klein schreiben und 'English' gross schreiben. smile

Talking to a native speaker is a great idea. Writing to chefkeem also. laughing I would recommend watching TV series and films in english, too.
